Primero*, how did we get the Red Rojo name?

The name reflects our commitment to inclusivity and tradition. Many people know that red means rojo, and vice versa—it's a simple fact that connects cultures. 

In Spanish-speaking communities, we grow up hearing our abuelos tell us “Camarón que se duerme, se lo lleva la corriente”* – a funny phrase at first, but one that reminds us to act swiftly and wisely. These cultural stories are part of our identity. They’re meant to be shared. They’re told to bring people together. 

We wanted our name to reflect this storytelling spirit.
